Christmas Magic - How can Santa deliver those exciting Christmas presents?
No chimney? No problem. Santa's magic key can open any door lock in the whole wide world. Magic.
And it's magical when children meet Santa, even though they will never remember actually meeting him. That's part of the magic of Christmas.

Santa was disappointed that there was no chimney. He quite liked climbing down chimneys, as long as they were clean of course. Rudolph and the other reindeer had parked the sleigh in the sky just above Gemma and Steven’s house, and now Santa had to decide how to get in. ‘Have to be the key again’, he said to Rudolph. Rudolph snorted.
Down by the front door of the house, having put a big sack of presents on the floor, Santa reached into his pocket and pulled out a large key, his magic key. He put it in the lock, turned it, and the door opened in front of him. That was not a surprise, his magic key always worked with any lock in the whole wide world. What was a surprise was that two small children were standing in the hall in front of him.
‘Oh dear, this isn’t supposed to happen,’ said Santa to himself, ‘all the children are supposed to be in bed fast asleep.’
‘Hello Santa’, said Gemma and Steven. ‘Hello children,’ said Santa. ‘Do you want a hand putting all those presents under the Christmas tree?’ Gemma asked. ‘We’re good at carrying things,’ said Steven. ‘Well that would be fine,’ said Santa.
All three of them carried lots of presents into the room where the Christmas tree was, and laid them all out underneath the glittering branches.
‘Well, must be off,’ said Santa, ‘lots and lots more houses to visit before Christmas day.’ ‘Lovely to see you,’ said the children. ‘You too,’ said Santa, ‘but it’s time for bed now. Off you go.’
Santa knew that as soon as he left, soaring high in the sky with Rudolph’s nose glowing red and the sleigh swishing through the cold winter sky, he knew that the children would forget that they had ever seen him. That’s the magic of Christmas. You might have seen him at your house one Christmas, but you would never remember.
